This last Sunday we had the privilege to hear Landon Hairgrove share out of Galatians 4v1-7 about being a son, not a slave. There were so many great things packed into what he taught, I wanted to recap them for you here. Please read through this and let the Holy Spirit info you head and heart! Galatians 4v1-7 1 Think of it this way. If a father dies and leaves an inheritance for his young children, those children are not much better off than slaves until they grow up, even though they actually own everything their father had. 2 They have to obey their guardians until they reach whatever age their father set. 3 And that’s the way it was with us before Christ came. We had an incredible time at Wintertreat! I wanted to share will you Allison's testimony that she shared. It is powerful picture of chasing after the calling of the Lord, dealing with fear, and letting the Holy Spirit have the final say. This verse has taught me how to not be afraid, and how to trust God in any situation even though that can be extremely difficult. For example I remember the last time I came up here and spoke in front of everyone...

If you recall in my lovely white board drawing two week ago, that this idea of climbing the "checklist of steps" to get closer to God is so bogus! Remember your are seated with Him! On his chair. Next to Jesus himself and he wants to lead you through life's journey. Ephesians 2v6 6For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. Last Sunday took us a bit deeper as we uncovered a deeper understanding of God's grace for us through the lens of the man in the story of the adulterous woman. One of the key things to remember is that the...
