This last Sunday, we came together for an amazing night of prayer and worship. I don't know what it is about having nights like that, but there is something powerful that happens when we come together as a group to glorify the Lord. I watched as so many of you really engaged in worship and had personal encounters with God. True worship isn't just singing songs, it's giving all of yourself, every thought, every ounce of your being to God. It's putting him first, him allowing him to have preeminence in your life. My favorite part of the night was moving into the aux room for prayer. It's a completely different feeling on the inside when you give, versus when you receive a gift. They both feel good, but...

Without power, cell phones are just paper weights, TV’s are just dark mirrors, and light bulbs are just cool shaped glass. The power source behind those things is what makes them useful. Now I want you to consider this thought, we as humans are like a really cool piece of tech, but we cannot be used to our full potential without being connected to the power source.  Friends, Jesus is our power source. Our...
