Daniel 1:1 V1 During the third year of King Jehoiakim’s reign in Judah, King Nebuchadnezzar...

This last Sunday, we came together for an amazing night of prayer and worship. I don't know what it is about having nights like that, but there is something powerful that happens when we come together as a group to glorify the Lord. I watched as so many of you really engaged in worship and had personal encounters with God. True worship isn't just singing songs, it's giving all of yourself, every thought, every ounce of your being to God. It's putting him first, him allowing him to have preeminence in your life. My favorite part of the night was moving into the aux room for prayer. For those of you who could not make it on Sunday, we received some of those prayer cards that we had left in the food boxes in the mail from Kingdom Mischief Night. They had some extremely heavy things written down on them, everything from...

And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" Acts 20:35 This last Sunday was "Kingdom Mischief Night" and it was a huge success! I am so proud of all you for diving in head first and serving the city around you. With the food you brought, and the money that was donated, we were able to bless over 60 families in need with groceries and love. So thank you for coming out and serving your city! We all love getting gifts and celebrating Christmas or our birthdays, but in my opinion, it is far more fun to give to those in need. It's a completely different feeling on the inside when you give, versus when you receive a gift. They both feel good, but...

This last Sunday we had the privilege to hear Landon Hairgrove share out of Galatians 4v1-7 about being a son, not a slave. There were so many great things packed into what he taught, I wanted to recap them for you here. Please read through this and let the Holy Spirit info you head and heart! Galatians 4v1-7 1 Think of it this way. If a father dies and leaves an inheritance for his young children, those children are not much better off than slaves until they grow up, even though they actually own everything their father had. 2 They have to obey their guardians until they reach whatever age their father set. 3 And that’s the way it was with us before Christ came. We were like children; we were slaves to the basic spiritual principles of this world. 4 But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to...

We had an incredible time at Wintertreat! I wanted to share will you Allison's testimony that she shared. It is powerful picture of chasing after the calling of the Lord, dealing with fear, and letting the Holy Spirit have the final say. I love you all and I stoked to see what the Lord unlocks in your heart after reading this. Enjoy!   Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear for I am with you, I will help you yes, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." This verse has taught me how to not be afraid, and how to trust God in any situation even though that can be extremely difficult. For example I remember the last time I came up here and spoke in front of everyone...

We have had an incredible time over the past two weeks at NEXT discovering what it means to walk in God's acceptance and grace. It has really transformed how I see myself in front of Him. If you recall in my lovely white board drawing two week ago, that this idea of climbing the "checklist of steps" to get closer to God is so bogus! Remember your are seated with Him! On his chair. Next to Jesus himself and he wants to lead you through life's journey. Ephesians 2v6 6For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. Last Sunday took us a bit deeper as we uncovered a deeper understanding of God's grace for us through the lens of the man in the story of the adulterous woman. One of the key things to remember is that the...

This past Sunday night as we were reading through Ephesians 2v4-7 we dealt with receiving God's grace and gifts. Not earning them as the world says we need to, but letting it be an actual gift! I'd like to take a few minutes to dive into that a bit more...

Ephesians 1:11-14 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory. In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. God inheritance is not something that we should casually consider. Think about it...
