Hi Vintage Families,

We hope you had a great week!

In the Elementary Class, we started an incredible teaching last week on the very special gift that Jesus promised his disciples, the Holy Spirit. We focused our teaching on John 16:7 which says, “Let me assure you, it is better for you that I go away. I say this because when I go away I will send the Helper to you. But if I did not go, the Helper would not come.” We spent some time pondering the question, “What could be better than living life with Jesus during his time here on earth? After all, Jesus himself told us it would be better for him to go so he could send us the Helper. This week, we are continuing the teaching and we’ve set aside a special time of worship at the end for the kids to respond through worship, prayer and communion.

We will also be introducing a new worship song this week, “Joy” by Rend Collective. It is so fun to see the kids at Vintage align their hearts with God and engage in worship! Worshiping with them is one of our favorite things we do all week! Your kids can get psyched and preview the lyric video here»

In our Nursery & Preschool Classrooms, these kiddos will continue learning the Bible Story of David and Goliath! Since David was a brave shepherd boy, the kids will be making paper cup sheep finger puppets and they will get to eat mini-sheep (mini marshmallows) to help them learn this classic and awesome story.
