Hi Vintage Families,

We hope you had a fantastic week and are gearing up for a great weekend!

Last Sunday, we taught the elementary class the story of the Prodigal Son and how the Father is love. The kids and adult team members dressed up in costume to act out the story. We loved getting to laugh while learning this incredible teaching.

This week in the Elementary Class, the kids will be learning that God is Our Righteousness through the biblical festival of the Day of Atonement. Throughout the year, we strategically take time for Remember and Celebrate Sundays, which invites the kids to pause and look back at what they have learned and how they have expereinced Him in the past few weeks. Each lesson focuses on a biblical festival and we explore the origin of the festival and what it shows us about God. This Sunday, we have a VCK favorite, Unicycle Eujean, coming to Vintage City Kids to help us learn more about the Day of Atonement and that God is Our Righteousness!

In our Nursery & Preschool Classrooms, these little one’s will continue to learn about the miraculous rescue of Peter from prison and that God listens to our prayers. To celebrate this great teaching, the kids will be enjoying prison bars (pretzel sticks) as a snack and each kid will create a prayer chain to take home.
