Vintage City Kids Weekly | 02.08.15

Hello Vintage Families,

We hope you are enjoying this beautiful day!

We have a great Sunday gathering planned for Vintage City Kids. In the elementary class, the kids will be learning that God is in Control through the incredible story of Esther. In our Bible Story, God placed Esther in her position “for such a time as this” and through her, God saves his people, the Israelites. In response to this teaching, the kids will be given the opportunity to worship, pray and to trust that God is in control of their lives. For a fun review activity, the kids will get to work in groups to recap the story’s events and make a giant comic strip. We are so excited to be able to teach the kids about Esther and to show them how God is always working in our lives, even when we can’t see Him.

The preschool kids will be on their second week of learning that Jesus is Powerful through the Bible Story of the healing of the blind man in John 9:1-12. The kids will be enjoying another mud-related snack and they will get to make a fun craft using stick-on googly eyes.
