Vintage City Kids Weekly | 02.01.15

Hello Vintage Families,

Our church is in an exciting season and many of you know that we will be moving into a newly renovated gathering space on Sharp Point Drive very soon! To learn more and see our vision click here:

Our leadership team has been working hard to ensure that we have an effortless transition from our mobile status at Fossil Ridge to our first permanent home on Sharp Point Drive. There are a few things that I would like you let you know about in advance to help us adjust well to our new home.

The following changes will take effect on our first Sunday in the New Gathering Space:

Worship with Families

Worship has always been a huge passion and focus for the adult gatherings at Vintage. The same is true for Vintage City Kids. Recently, our team has seen God give the children one heart and one purpose as it says in Jeremiah: To Worship!

“They will be my people, and I will be their God. 39 And I will give them one heart and one purpose: to worship me forever, for their own good and for the good of all their descendants. 40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good for them. I will put a desire in their hearts to worship me, and they will never leave me. 41 I will find joy doing good for them and will faithfully and wholeheartedly replant them in this land.” Jeremiah 32:38-40

I cannot express how much I love to see the kids worship with their parents for the beginning portion of our worship services; however, this has been an increasingly difficult area for us to maintain security for your children and have accurate rosters. We believe it is time to have children check directly into their classrooms when they arrive on Sundays. When we move into the new gathering space, Vintage City Kids will begin accepting children for check in 15 minutes prior to service time.

New Time & Location for 5th-6th Grade Student Leaders

Currently, our 5th-6th Grade Student Leaders have been meeting at our home in Loveland on Sunday afternoons. Since we will soon have a place of our own, we will be meeting at Sharp Point Drive from 5-6:30pm on Sunday evenings as a part of the new Vintage Sunday Night Service.

The VCK Student Leaders will join NEXT Jr. High, High School & College ministries for worship and then split into separate classes for the teaching portion of the evening. We are so excited to merge our worship time with NEXT for one awesome time of encountering the Lord!

Our hope is that parents who have students in both age groups will receive the gift of time by not making multiple trips to separate locations at different times. Instead, their students can be dropped off and picked up at the same time and place.

Check In System

We would like to upgrade our kid’s check in system to better serve our families. As we transition to the new system, we will need to have you re-enter your child’s allergy/medical information since we are not allowed by law to transfer that information directly. We will be transitioning to this new system shortly after we move to our new home.

Serving In Vintage City Kids

We have an awesome team of people who serve your children at Vintage. As we continue to grow, we are looking for outgoing, fun-loving people who love God and love children to join our team. If you are interested in joining the team or would like more information, please let us know by filling out the Serve Form by clicking here:

It is an incredible joy for Brittany and myself to pastor the families at Vintage and specifically these young children. It is our desire to come alongside of your family to help you grow deeper in your relationship with God and give your kids real opportunities to experience His love and presence. Thank you for allowing us to partner with you in this journey.

Be blessed this week,
