Mathew 5:6

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

That is the word that the Lord spoke to me over the course of this last weekend at wintertreat. It’s what I watched develop inside of you all. Hunger is what our church, our culture, and our nation needs. I believe if we could all just taste a little a little of God’s goodness, we would see just how good He really is.

Saturday evening, I was so proud of you all. You all went after God with a fervency that I had not seen in you up until that point. You all shouted and danced before the loud, some of us cried, some of us laughed, some of us just sat silent before the power of the presence of our mighty God.

If their is one thing I want you all to take away from that weekend, its this: If you are hungry, you WILL be filled. If you desire to encounter God, He WILL encounter you.

The level of your desire, will determine how much you acquire.

This week, I want you all to reflect on what the Lord did at camp. I want you to look back at your journals, and re-read the things you wrote down. Let the Holy Spirit highlight specific things that He wants you to pray about further. Dive into conversation with Holy Spirit, and let him speak to your heart.

I want you to ponder these three questions:

  1. What was the main thing God spoke to me at camp?
  2. Who do I need to stay in contact with, as a Godly influence in my life?
  3. List three things you learned at camp that you can apply to everyday life.

Love you all,
