VCK Weekly 10/13/14-10/19/14

Hello Vintage Families,

We hope you had a great week and are ready for an awesome weekend!

This Sunday at Vintage City Kids, Detective Swift, Swift Justice will be coming to kids church to talk to the elementary kids about the Ten Commandments. Detective Swift is a stickler for the rules – who better to teach the kids about the Ten Commandments?

Detective Swift Justice Ten Commandments

The pre-k kiddos (4’s-5’s, 2’s-3’s, Toddler Nursery) will be learning that “God Speaks to Us” through the story of when God spoke to Samuel. This is the same story that they learned last week. This repetition of Bibles stories and Godly themes is intentional and designed to solidify key foundational truths into the hearts of these little ones! The bubbles and bubble wrap were such a hit last week – they will be back this Sunday along with a fun new game that helps the kids understand that God still speaks to us!

Student Leadership

We had an incredible time at 5th/6th Grade Student Leadership last Sunday afternoon! It was an honor and privilege to have Dr. Jay Leroux bless the kids with his teaching on young David’s life. This Sunday, we will be having a Fall Party which will include pumpkin bowling, bocce ball, pie and ice cream and hot apple cider! We will still be meeting at our normal time (4-6pm) and place (520 Albany Ave., Loveland, CO).
