24 Jun Summer is here! Schedule changes…
Good Morning and happy Friday Vintage Family!
Summer is here! Summers are naturally a busy time, full of vacations, sports, and some great weather. I pray you are getting some time outside to enjoy the amazing place we live! Psalm 46 teaches us to, “Be still and know that He is God.” That word, “know,” carries the idea of a perception gained through direct experience. I would love to challenge each of us to spend some time practicing that, “experiencing,” this summer. We are blessed to live in an incredible area of the world. It is majestic and beautiful. Creation is speaking, at all times, of His Glory. So, here is my invitation: take some time, get away from everything and be still with Him. Invite Him to overwhelm you with the Knowledge of Him.
Summer Schedule Changes:
Vintage Prayer Nights…Come and join us next Wednesday night, June 29th, for our last prayer gathering of the Summer. Don’t worry…We will start them back up on September! Our prayer gatherings have been incredible. We are growing in our understanding of strategic intercession! I am so excited to see what Jesus is doing in these gatherings!
Next Wednesday night, I am going to be sharing some strategic intercession points that I will be challenges each of us to take and do intentional intercession on our own with. I am excited for it and believe it is an important exercise in our growth as people trusted to pray His Kingdom into this region!
Cade’s Lemonade Stand… Last Sunday we shared about a desire God put on one of our young men, Cade Dunlap, to help a friend’s mom who is battling cancer. I want us to get behind this for a couple of strategic reasons. Number one, if our young people are hearing the heart of God for others, we are doing something very right. Number two, it is a very real and tangible way for Vintage to express her heart for people.
Cade is selling lemonade this Saturday, June 25th, from 10am – 3pm. His lemonade stand is in Windsor, at the corner of 15th St. and Jacoby Rd. He is hoping to raise enough money to take care of her living expenses for several months. What a vision! If you can’t make it, just remember this event and ask for the blessing of the Father on it. We have asked him to set up a stand at Vintage this Sunday so you can have the privilege of buying a glass. Thanks for the support!
Much grace to you. I love this journey we are on!
