12 Jan What’s Your Word for 2016?
Happy New Year Vintage Ladies! I’m looking forward to 2016!
I hope the holidays were filled with joy and your new year is off to a promising start.
My word for 2016 is strength. I had a bit of a struggle finding what I felt the Lord was speaking to me this year. Usually, I know before New Year’s Day. I felt like I had two or three great options, but there wasn’t that one that jumped out. Thankfully, the Lord gave me this verse out of Psalm 28:7, The Lord is my strength and my shield; I trust him with all my heart.
I landed on strength because I really want 2016 to be a year of addition-I want to add to the physical, spiritual, mental foundation I’ve worked so hard to clear and ready. I want strength in every area of my life-physically, spiritually and mentally. I want to increase the daily choice to find joy and strength in Him.
I would love for each of you to take some time this week and ask the Lord for a word for this year. I hope you find this exercise refreshing and that it helps bring focus to your 2016. Feel free to share with me what He gives you by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or I’ll be available at church. I love hearing how faithful the Lord is to give us each an individual promise to carry us through our life journey. Love you bunches!
